In this episode Maddie Segal shares her 26 hour unmedicated birth story! Maddie gave birth to her son Oliver at a local birth center, which she says was an amazing experience. Maddie shares how she ate dates, drank red raspberry leaf tea, and ate two ENTIRE pineapples in an attempt to get labor started! Postpartum she struggled with a low milk supply, she tried all the supplements and saw a lactation consultant. At one point Maddie was pumping and breastfeeding over 20 times a day! She shares her journey with breastfeeding so vulnerably and shares how she made it through. Maddie says her biggest bit of advice for mamas is to find a community of moms, because she could not have made it without their support!
