Thursday morning. This is your town. This is your station. This is Waitley. G'day everybody and welcome to Waitly on this Thursday. Adam White again filling in for Gerard. We're doing it for Hyundai, for Pay.com and also for Radius Telematics. We have got a very busy show coming up and it's really good. I've been excited about this all night and all morning because Adam Simpson will join us shortly. Being a Thursday, Eye of the Coach time. But we've got Matt Short to join us from San Francisco to talk about playing cricket in America at the moment, which is an experience in itself, but particularly with the World Cup going on. Cam John will join us on Monday. He's heading off to the UK to play in the Open Championship for the very first time.
Cam won three times on the Australasian Tour this year. So he is a man in form and he's going to play. He's going to live out his dream by playing in the Open Championship for the first time. And he is going to be joining us from the UK, not from the UK, from America, because he's actually doing the World Cup. So he was at the England game today. So we will talk to him and talk about the World Cup. Well, I'm not actually the man to ask. I don't think we ever won there as a player or a coach. No, I think we won there. As a player, we won there in 2007 at North Melbourne when... Was that when David Hale kicked eight goals? I can't remember. I can't remember other than I had 42. No. What happened, I think, that day, that was the day when there was a crisis meeting because they lost to North down in Geelong. And I don't think they lost another game.
That's right.
So we contributed to their success in 07 because they went on a pretty big run after that. From a coaching point of view, we played there and Subiaco was skinny so we thought it matched up really well but we just could not win down there even when we were in really good form as a club. But what Brisbane did was different. They played there last year. They won by 40 points and I'm sure they'll look at some things they did. They controlled the game even more than their usual control game.
