G'day everybody and welcome to Waitley on this Wednesday. Adam White filling in for Gerard. Gerard back on Monday. We are doing it for Hyundai, for pay.com.au and for Radius Telematics. We've got a really busy show coming up. Lots of different things. So if you like different things, certainly this morning is the way to go. Highlighted by, well, look, a number of things. We're going to talk to John Stenzel very shortly just about what the whole NRL TV rights deal means and what it means for the I guess, for the sports industry, what it means for the AFL when it comes to their next rights, what it means for NRL in relation to what do they do with the money, all those sorts of things. So we'll talk to John shortly.
We're going to have a bit of an athletics chat today. Jason Richardson is going to join us because Cameron Myers has been doing some amazing things overseas and what that means ahead of the Commonwealth Games and also just how well Our team is going to perform at the Commonwealth Games. Fergus O'Neill will be in the studio. Fergus has just come back from playing county cricket in England. He's very close to playing for Australia next month in the test matches against Bangladesh. I'm not sure whether he will or he won't, but he's very, very close after dominating county cricket. So just interesting to hear from someone about just that whole county cricket experience for someone that just came off the back of a full Australian season, literally got on a plane two days after the Sheffield Shield final and then got straight into it.
So we'll talk to him. Plenty of footy news around, so we'll discuss that. And we're going to talk to two very interesting people in the last hour. Eddie Nketiah will join us. So Eddie is one of the fastest men in Australia, if not the fastest man in Australia. That's faster than Gout Gout, faster than Lockie Kennedy. And he's only recently been representing Australia. He had a go at Gridiron in America in college football. And he's gone from a New Zealander to an Australian. So we'll talk to Eddie, a really interesting story. And to be that interesting and a bit different, we're going to be joined by James Webb. And for those that don't know James Webb, James is... At the very top of his chosen profession, sort of talking top five in the world.
And he's a professional eater. And he's taken on Joey Chestnut recently in the hot dog eating contest on July the 4th at Coney Island. So we're going to talk to James a little bit later on in the program. But before we're joined by John... I just was thinking about this before, just how lucky we are as sports fans at the moment, particularly with some of the things that are happening overseas, just the era that we're in at the moment. And I was thinking about this when Novak Djokovic just reached his 15th Wimbledon semi-final at the age of 39 years old. So he's the oldest in 50 years to reach 15.

We're talking about a guy that's won 24 majors, seven Wimbledons, played through the Federer and Nadal era with winning records against both of them. I personally believe He's the greatest tennis player of all time. And during the same tournament, we saw Serena Williams come back as clearly the best female tennis player of all time to do what she was able to do, albeit in one match. We're still seeing history. But then you see what Lionel Messi did, where he scored an eighth goal in this year's World Cup as Argentina came from two goals down to defeat Egypt 3-2.
