Being a product of the time, she thought it was more important to get married to her high school sweetheart right out of school than going on to get her master’s degree so she could have been a psychologist. There began her journey into becoming the woman she is today. In the first short year of marriage, she realized he was not going to be along for the ride. To celebrate this revelation, she treated herself to a white corvette and moved on in a different direction. Since a degree in psychology did not get any job offers, she did what she said she would never do, went into the family business of real estate, and has been in it ever since! After nine years of being single before she married her second husband, Gail learned a lot about herself. She had a wonderful advantage of having a relationship with a man who honestly wanted her to live up to her full potential and was man enough to deal with the results! Her career spans over 40 years, from being in management, to a sales agent with a new firm after the family retired, to a current team leader of the Gail Nyman Group with a team of twelve. Currently, her team ranks as the second most productive Re/Max team in Maryland. As a mother of three daughters, she has a motto about raising girls -the most important thing to teach them is to be completely independent and always be able to take care of themselves no matter what happens in life. It is her honor and privilege to work with younger associates in the real estate business and help them blossom into spectacular agents in their own right.
