In this podcast, we continue on with more safety talk. This time, on how we approach training and things we should be thinking about when it comes to spending our time in the great outdoors. From match shooting to hunting, what we do can be dangerous and we accept that risk. But what about the little things we don't think about or take into consideration? From first aid kits, communications, strategies and training we should take to prepare ourselves in case the worst happens or a situation turns from an incident to life threatening. These things happen and situations can change in an instant. The gear you take, the training you attended and the safety precations built into your approach to being part of the outdoors can mean the difference between you making it home or on the list of the missing who too often are found deceased. We attended a class at Angel Trauma Solutions and it really awakened the realization that we should be doing more of this type of training and was a good reminder to always train and prepare as if your life or someone you love depends on it.
