This week’s WSJM Sports Player of the Week is Marley Walters of St. Joseph Girls Golf. Marley is a sophomore at St. Joe and has a 3.9 GPA So far this season St. Joe finished 2nd at Lake Cora with Marley finishing 2 shots off the lead, then two days later St. Joe finished first at the Eastern Hills tournament, where Marley was the medalist, shooting an 18 hole score of 80, which was 5 shots better than second place. Then at this week’s SMAC meet at Lake Michigan Hills, St. Joe came in first tying a St. Joe school record 9 hole score of 164 where Marley shot 40. Marley is a member of 1st tee of Benton Harbor, Young Life, the Key Club, and also is a member of the St. Joe track team.
