Miryssa Nelson of Coloma Softball is our WSJM Sports Player of the WeekColoma went 4-0 for the week with a sweep of Fennville 15-0, and 16-1, Then the Comets swept Parchment 13-3 and 13-7. Miryssa was the starting pitcher in both of the opening game wins. Against Fennville she allowed 1 hit and struck out 6 and against Parchment, she allowed 6 hits and had 2 earned runs while striking out 3. At the plate in the leadoff position, she's batted .750 for the week with 7 singles, 2 doubles, 4 walks, scored 8 times and had 5 rbi and stole two bases. She has a .621 batting average this season.
