One savey, so, you know, something not affordable, something more affordable, something brand spanking new. Maybe several brand spanking new things. Will both of us actually have a box? I have a box, you have a box. Of newness. And then something we've either finished or shopped our own stash for. And I sort of am in the both bandwagon. I shopped your stash. Well, you inspired my stash from yours. Okay.
All right, let's kick things off with, give me your savey, girl. Spendy. Savey. Spendy. Savey. Cha-ching. Let me tell you what it is and then how I discovered it. It's called the Indola Colour Style Mousse Leave-In Rinse-Off Temporary Colouring Mousse. Everyone knows what a toner like shampoo is or colour shampoo. Blondes usually use like a violet toner-y thing, whereas brunettes might use a little bit of colour depositing. Do they do much? Not really.
Well, that's debatable. The blonde ones do. Sorry, yes. I'm meaning for me.
So I'm very dark chocolate brown. I'm a number four. Anyway, I do sometimes use those, but you've got to pop them on. I have to start the shampoo before if it's going to grab the greys. I went into one of the hair house, warehouse-y type, quite fancy, wholesalery hair places. You know how there's those in the mall? Not just your price signs. Although they might sell them here. The lady goes, oh my gosh, you need to try this. So it's a coloured mousse that you can either put on and then wash out or style your hair with.
Oh.
I know. I was like, okay, lady, but she was so into it and she was like touching my hair and I'm like, I don't, maybe she just worked in retail, but she felt hairdressery vibes. I didn't ask her. So it's actually really good. I don't want to put any on my hand.
No, please, yeah, don't.
But is it a mousse texture? Yes. So you can put it in damp hair if you like and then style your hair. I started by using it as like a, I'd put it in like 20 minutes before my shower and then kind of wash my hair. But the other day I actually scrunched it into almost dry hair. Like I, you know how we let our hair dry kind of like 80% and think now I'm going to do something with it. I just sort of scrunched it in and went with undone. Okay. My hair was air dried, but it had a bit of product in it. It's quite cool. So it's literally like a root cover-up, but it's... Is it dark brown, the colour when it comes out? Well, this is a medium brown because I said to her, oh, this doesn't look dark enough. She goes, no, trust me, you want to go medium brown.
So if you're going to try this, check it out online or maybe pop into a store. There's lots of reviews online and some shades have great reviews and some shades don't. So I'm not sure how it would work on blondes.
