Even as an AI scientist, I feel that I can hardly catch up with the progress of AI. There's a quote from 1970s about AI. The most advanced computer AI algorithm will still play a good chess move when the room is on fire.
Dr. Fei-Fei Li is a professor of computer science at Stanford University, as well as the co-director of the Stanford Institute for Human-Centered AI. We're gonna discuss how she's creating eyes for AI with computer visioning. There's just so much public discourse about AI, and many of them are ill-informed. And that's dangerous. Everything that has consciousness has eyes. If AI starts to have eyes, wouldn't it just be that they're living and sentient at that point?
