S2 Episode 32 Free Hockey for Youth - Getting Professional Teams on Board - Questions Asked at Tryouts
12 Apr 2022
Interview with hockey4youth founder Mo Hasham about how hockey provides community and continuity in the greater society. He has a fantastic program for getting kids into hockey who traditionally don't have the opportunity. It's a great idea, and he is a great interview. Lance talks a little about how young people bond over hockey in ways that extend into adulthood. Rolly rallies the show with discussion of why he coached his own son. He also wants sushi restaurant recommendations in Vancouver, if any of you have the chance to reply. Randall presses the idea that Hockey can be a positive unifying force in the lives of young people. Mo's message definitely resonates in this area.
