What merchandise and supplements are being promoted at the start of the episode?
All right, listeners, before we start with this next podcast, just quickly, I want to talk to you about the podcast merch. I've got the shirts, the hoodies, stickers, et cetera. So jump on to zerolimitspodcastshop.com, grab yourself some of those things. What this does, it helps the podcast move forward, get regular guests on the potties and get these stories out there because they're so valuable for history and not only that, to motivate people. So again, jump on a Zero Limits podcast, shop.com, grab yourself something to support the show. Also... We know for a fact, just like I just said before, the podcast is about sharing history, but it also is there to inspire and motivate you to complete any goal you set your mind to, just like the people on the show.
So what I've decided to do, I've started a supplements brand called Zero Limit Supplements. I've got the Roadside Bomb pre-workout. Now I've got the new pre-workout called War Crimes. I've also got the creatine as well. There's more stuff in the works, so stay tuned for that. Now, if you're offended by those names, roadside bomb or war crimes, I don't know, go back to drinking grass shots. I don't know. Anyway, the reason why I've done this is, again, to top off from those stories and to help you get to where you need to be. This stuff can help you in the gym. It can help you get fit. It can help you be the best you can be, especially if you're in a forward-facing role like the cops, the ambos, the fireys, corrective services, SES.
The military, security world, whatever you are doing, even if you're just at home and you want to be the best you can be for yourself, for your family and the friends around you. Again, this stuff can help you get to where you need to be. So jump on to ZeroLimitsSupplements.com, grab yourself something, and again, it supports the show. Like I always say, don't be a sack, don't be a liability. Let's go. 5-1-7-0-1. It's
time for the Zero Limits podcast, hosted by Australian veterans. Chatting with high-charging humans with hectic stories from around the world. We'll give you the motivation to take on whatever life throws at you and the kick to complete any goal you set your mind to. Let's go. 9-3 Bravo, 9-3 Echo, roger. 9-3 Bravo, get up.
British Range 7-1, trying to contact you, roger. Zero Limits listeners on today's Zero Limits podcast joined in the studio in Newcastle with a 23-year current serving New South Wales fireman. Absolute crazy story. He spent about 12 years in the Australian Defence Force as well as a reservist during this time, which we'll definitely talk about. multiple different jobs we've already spoken about offline, just to get a bit of a brief history of his life and career. And most recently, probably about a month ago, I think we'll team up the podcast. We've been chatting for about two or three months now and he ended up on the news, part of a rescue and we'll get into it because it's just, it just shows that the job never stops.
You're out fishing with your boy and you, you know, you, you, ferrying our GEDs out to a floating body in the river. And mate, this just sounds like a movie. Absolutely sounds like a movie. Not to mention multiple commendations for bravery, fires, typical, like it's the ladder 49 running into houses and I watch a lot of Chicago fire. And that's about my experience with firefighting. Otherwise, you see them cruising around and I know the police pretty much say you guys just kick back in your lounge chairs and put the feet up. But Adam Long, mate, welcome and thanks for coming on.
Yeah, thanks, buddy. Yeah, it's good to be on the podcast. You know, a legend like yourself, you know, it's a good platform, I think, you know, getting a whole range of similar-minded people on to tell their story and, you know, what lessons can we learn from each other and, you know, it's that constant ever-ending improvement kind of mindset.
For sure, for sure. I think you're going to be the first – I want to say actual firefighter, but the actual firefighter that had on that, that has been your main career, you know, majority of the guys that have had on the podcast previously, they've all either come from defense or fire from the police or, you know what I mean?
