Zum Glück gibts Werte - Inspiration für Job, Life und Leadership
#4a Zum Glück gibts Tomas Björkman, Swedish social entrepreneur and philosopher
23 Nov 2020
He studied mathematics and physics, ended up in the banking Iindustry, sold it all in midlife and decided to set up a foundation to help people to grow. He is a firm believer in the connection between personal inner growth and societal change. Welcome Tomas, Tomas Björkman as Swedish social entrepreneur, philosopher and author of three amazing books with titles filled with promise: “The Nordic Secret“, (gerade auch auf Deutsch mit dem Titel “Das skandinavische Geheimnis“ erschienen), „The World We Create“ and „The Market Myth“. (The links you can find as usual down in the show notes.) We will learn a lot about the urge to create strong cultures and the importance of letting people discover their own inner compass. We will be talking about why the only way to truly build democracy is from bottom up. And what „Bildung“ was really meant to be in Germany and how the Nordic countries perfected it. And this time, by the way, I devided this episode into two parts to make them more digestible. Here comes part one: Shownotes: Here you find your way to Tomas and his books: http://www.tomas-bjorkman.com/#books.
