腎不全患者さんへの緩和ケアは、がん患者さんと同様に重要ですが、日本ではその整備が遅れていました。この状況を受け、日本緩和医療学会、日本腎臓学会、日本透析医学会の3学会が協働し、2025年9月に「腎不全患者のための緩和ケアガイダンス」が発表されました。このガイダンスは、腎代替療法の有無にかかわらず、全ての腎不全患者さんを対象としており、診断時から人生の最終段階まで、各病期に応じた緩和ケアの実践方法を網羅しています。具体的には、痛み、倦怠感、掻痒感などの身体的苦痛、抑うつや不安といった精神的苦痛の緩和、意思決定支援、多職種連携による医療提供体制の構築 など、日常診療で直面する課題に対する実践的な内容が盛り込まれています。本ガイダンスは、腎臓内科医や透析医をはじめ、腎不全診療に関わる全ての医療者が緩和ケアの理念を理解し、日々の診療に取り入れることを目的としています。日本緩和医療学会, 日本腎臓学会, 日本透析医学会. 腎不全患者のための緩和ケアガイダンス. 2025.#地域医療 #プライマリ・ケア #いなか医師の勉強ノート #腎不全 #緩和ケア #意思決定支援 #透析 #腎代替療法
