カンボジアの国立病院で、看護師の支援を行ったメグミさん。勉強会を開き、一緒に仕事をするうち、カンボジアの看護のリーダーになるであろう彼らを見て、自分の意識も変わっていくことを実感します。相手が伸びる過程で、こちらも実は伸びてきている、あるいは相手が悩む過程で自分も悩んでいる。支援を受ける側だけじゃなくて、支援する側も伸びていく。国際協力を通じて、成長していく人々に焦点を当てます。
