発展途上国において妊娠はまだまだすごく危険なことなのです。妊娠中毒症になった患者さんを治療すること、妊娠中毒症にならないように予防法を広めること。先進国から来た医師たちに求められることなにか。それは、先進国で知っていることを教えに行くことではなくて、そこの状況に合ったもの、その現場で使えるものを一緒に探し、一緒に見つけ、一緒に考えていくということでした。今回は、「国づくりは人づくり～保健人材について」と題して国立国際医療研究センターの藤田則子先生に、ご自身のカンボジアやアフガニスタンでの活動を例にお話を伺います。
