古希腊伟大的哲学家亚里士多德曾经对时间有过定义，他认为：“时间是关于前和后的运动的数”，因为运动有连续性，因此先后表示了时间流逝的本质！同时他也认为“时间既不是运动，也不能脱离运动”，事实上亚里士多德对于时间的认识是非常深刻的，从他的观点来看，时间并不能脱离空间存在，因为运动需要物质和空间的支持！
