Mas é porque, pelo menos a minha visão de pessoa que cresceu e amadureceu vendo Star Wars em vários momentos e várias formas diferentes, porque acompanhei tudo, todo esse universo, pra mim Andor é um amadurecimento completo do que é a essência de Star Wars, do que o George Lucas estava falando lá atrás, quando ele falou assim, olha, quando eu escrevi Star Wars, estava tendo a Guerra do Vietnã, e sabe, os Vietcongs, na minha cabeça, na época, eram os rebeldes, eram os caras que estavam lutando uma luta simétrica contra um império invencível, né?

Well, yeah, connected to that, the Disney Plus show Andor, season two just wrapped up. It's done incredibly because it's the Star Wars show that's for people who don't watch Star Wars. It's very gritty. It's very grounded in reality. And Tony Gilroy, who's a showrunner, he's the guy behind Michael Clayton and other great movies that you might love.

The Star Wars serial Andor has somehow managed to pull off originality within the constraints of a familiar franchise. And part of its originality is that it has an explicitly political and, to my mind, left-wing perspective on its world without feeling at all like tedious propaganda. My guest today is the showrunner behind Andor, Tony Gilroy.
