This wonderful Friday morning, day 7 in the matter of the application of a PS for a rate increase. We have a couple of procedural matters that have been brought up this morning or rather last night. But before getting into that there's still the outstanding matter of some exhibits that are see it had I was going to deal with those very quickly. having some bearing, and ARCIA 29, to the extent they have some bearing on the IRP process, that informed resource selections. I will admit those with regard to ARCIA 30 regarding the SRB materials. As I understand it, APS is requesting certain modifications to the SRB as a just-in-case if the FRAM is not approved, so the SRB is still in play. Whatever erstwhile materiality it has or relevance to the proceeding, I'll leave it up to whatever the record unfolds with regard to what questions may arise with regard to questions about the proposed changes to the SRB. On that basis, I'll allow Aracea 30 With regard to Aracia 27, which is the staff proposed order for the 2023 IRP and the staff memorandum, I would observe that the commission speaks through its decisions and the IRP was admitted or adopted in decision number 79589, which is already a noticed decision.

The stage that we're at, having observed how long things have taken relative to where we've been in previous cases and the concerns that we raised in the motion in regards to the time clock, is really kind of what was sort of the genesis behind that. You know, in consulting with some of the parties this morning after the motion was filed, and then even yesterday before we filed it, you know, we really have no illusion as to the popularity of this request and this proposal. You know, we just want to make clear, broadly speaking, you know, we have no intent to deprive any parties of reasonable opportunities to examine the witnesses or you know other due process instead again as we just looked at the total hearing time the total number of witnesses total parties seeking to examine various witnesses we do remain concerned that the math just simply isn't equaling out as to the amount of time that we have left

We are absolutely open to look at other ways to address this issue. And, you know, we're not trying to suggest that this is, you know, it's our way or the highway here. So, you know, I think that's in the spirit of trying to have a discussion about proposals, and maybe we want to defer this until later on and see where we're at in the proceedings.
