And any from Grandview? No. Okay. Um there is just one thing I wanna address before we begin, which is just the order of uh between Grandview and Clearwater. Um, do the parties have any preference as to the presentation of evidence?

Um then without any objections from the party, is that okay if we go ahead and begin with the presentation from Grandview? Uh and then we'll move on to Clearwater and then we'll we'll move on to staff. Does that sound good with everybody? Okay, great. I'm seeing nods. Yes. All right. Um, all right, so we will go ahead and proceed to the public comment portion. Uh this is the time set for any member of the public to provide comments in this matter. Um are there any members in person or online that would like to provide comment? Okay, and if you can uh please step forward. Um, and what what I'll have you do is uh step to the podium and I'll have you identify yourself.
Um so if you can uh tell me your name and if you don't mind spelling it for us as well, and then you can go ahead and um give your comment.
Okay. Hi, uh my name is Jessica Lay, J-E-S-S S-I-C-A-L-A-Y. And I'm a current homeowner in the Rainbow Valley area. It's the unincorporated part of Maricopa County, um, Buckeye. And I'm here because I want to better understand how the transfer from Grand Rue Water to Clearwater will affect our community, particularly our water reliability and infrastructure. Um we experience frequent drops in our water pressure with um and with the new continued new construction happening in the area. I'm concerned about whether our current systems can adequately support both existing residents and our future growth. I'd like to know what's causing these pressure issues. Is it related to the wells, pumps, that storage tank?
I'd like to know where our water comes from and how our current water infrastructure is currently operating. And if Clearwater takes over, what infrastructure improvements are planned for our Rainbow Valley area? And will existing customers be responsible for any rate increases and surcharges to fund these improvements. I support the growth in our community. I simply just wanna make sure our water infrastructure grows with it and that the residents already here continue to have reliable water and adequate pressure. So thanks for letting me share my concerns and I'd appreciate having these questions addressed as part of this proceeding.
