This is the time set for the pre-hearing conference in docket numbers W02192A 250040 and W01624A 250041. In the matter of the applications filed by Little Park Water Company and Big Park Water Company requesting the establishment of the fair value of plant and approval of permanent rates and charges to produce a fair return thereon, and the approval to consolidate, including the consolidation of rates. So we'll go ahead and begin by taking appearances of the parties, and we'll begin with the applicant.
Thank you, Your Honor. Good morning. This is Jay Shapiro from the Shapiro Law Firm on behalf of the applicants, Big Park Water Company and Little Park Water Company.
Okay, thank you, Mr. Shapiro. And on behalf of staff.
Good morning, Your Honor. It's Rob Ridenour, R-I-D-E-N-O-U-R, on behalf of staff. And I'm here with Britt Baxter.
Okay, thank you. And then, Ms. Morris, if you don't mind just introducing yourself for everyone.
Barry Morris. I'm an intervener in this situation, and I am a customer of water.
DIRECTOR RIVERA- I think you cut out for me at least. Did you say little. FRED PODESTA. No. I said big park water . DIRECTOR RIVERA- Okay. Thank you. Thank you Ms. Morris. All right. I know that there is a settlement agreement that was filed in this case but I'll still ask. Are there any corrections or objections or exhibits filed thus far.
MR. I know, Your Honor. This is Mr. Shapiro, and the parties have agreed now with the settlement to the admission of all the pre-filed testimony without objection.
MS. Okay. And is that staff's understanding as well?
MR. Yes, it is, Your Honor.
MS. Okay. And then, Ms. Morris, is that your understanding? MS. Yes, it is, Your Honor. MS. Okay, great. So the next topic that I want to address is witness and witness order. So we'll start with the applicants again.
Who are the parties and staff appearing for the Little Park and Big Park water companies?
Mr. Shapiro who do you intend to present and if there's any specific order.
We will present. We will be filing Mr. Jones' testimony in support of the settlement next Monday, as required by our recent stipulation. We will then present Mr. Jones at the hearing. We will have Mr. Nick Gudovic available at the hearing if there are any questions that are not questions that Mr. Jones can answer or that would be specific to Mr. Gudovic.
Okay. All right. And just to clarify, Mr. Gutavich would be able to provide what kind of testimony, I guess, that would be different from Mr. Jones?
You know, I guess if there were any specific questions from you, Your Honor, regarding the company itself that Mr. Jones, as an outside consultant, may not be able to answer, Mr. Gudvik would be available. He'll be at the hearing and available as needed. But we would, at this point, only intend to call Mr. Jones to cover the settlement testimony that will be filed.
Okay. Understood. All right. And then were there just confirm there's no other witnesses is that correct
no there are no other witnesses thank you
thank you mr sparrow uh and for staff
thank you your honor um we intend to file brit baxter's settlement testimony and he will be available or he will be at the hearing all other um members will be available or for testimony is required. Anybody that filed pre-filed testimony, but we do not intend to call any of them as witnesses at the hearing.
Okay, understood. Would they be available? Will they be available at the hearing in case there are questions? Yes, Your Honor. Okay, understood. Thank you. I understand that's kind of the way everything worked out in this situation that we're, we'll still have some testimony that will be filed between now and the hearing. So, um, I'm not sure that I'll have questions, but just in case I, I suppose I want to make sure that's available.
