We will begin by taking appearances uh officially for the record, starting first with counsel for the securities division.
Thank you, Honor. This is Cynthia Thomas on behalf of the security division. Jody Shock, I'm the investigator with the securities division.
Okay. Good morning to you both. And uh appearing for the respondents.

Morning, Mr Brown. Morning. w we last met on May five, twenty twenty six, for a telephonic status conference. Uh at that time the Security Division and Mr. Brown requested uh scheduling another status conference to allow Mr Brown additional time to obtain counsel. While the division continued to await production of documents in response to a subpoena. Today's status conference was scheduled to allow time for the parties regarding those matters. Uh so I guess let me turn to uh Mr. Brown, uh It seems that you are uh representing yourself today, so uh what what uh what's happened since we last met?
Well, I apologize, Your Honor. If I uh made a projection about how long it would take for me to be able to be to have counsel and everything ready, um never in my imagination would I think that I'd I'd still be in this position. Um I did however uh have a conversation yesterday with counsel, the same person that I've uh been talking to since the beginning. And uh I think we've made an arrangement that will work for both of us. And so his request was that I um come on the call today and just go ahead and schedule your um uh your your hearing date that uh uh would move for it move it forward and we'll be sure to be prepared for it at that point. Um I I think you're probably familiar. I'm talking with Alan.
Um uh Baskin who I've been talking with since the beginning, um I I do want to bring him on. And um he's agreed to do that. But it's taken me quite a bit longer than I thought that it would take to come up with his um um his deposit fee. So that that's That's the status. Okay. Thank you, Mr
Brown. Um Uh biz. Cynthia Thomas. Uh Do you have any uh anything to put on the record for uh we're What's the division's position on things at this point?
Uh yes, thank you, Your Honor. Um, we would agree that going ahead and getting a hearing date on on the calendar makes sense. Um at at any case, it does allow or it does put at least a time pressure on both sides to actually get this case moving.
How does Albert Brown describe his current representation and counsel situation?
Um And uh in working with Mr. Baskin, since right now the division is still awaiting uh production, uh, I've I've worked with Mr. Baskin in a couple of cases. He's pretty efficient in getting uh in in getting our subpoena. So if he is brought on, I don't foresee that being a process that takes an exorbitant amount of time. Um so with that, uh yes, Your Honor, the division would be looking to set its hearing. Uh, I'm just checking our availabilities as well.
Yeah. Mm-hmm. Uh so if the court has anything in February of twenty seven, uh through pretty much the uh towards the later half of March, um, those dates would all work for the division.
Um Ms. Cynthia Thomas, do you know or or do you have an idea at this point uh what length time we would need to schedule for the hearing. Uh I'd like you to maybe speculate as to how much time we would need for both sides.
Um, yes, Your Honor, I believe with the division we probably wouldn't need more than f uh three days, so or three or four days. So if we want to set it out for two weeks or ten hearing days, that would probably work for both sides.
Mr. Brown, do you have any uh Any thoughts regarding the Scheduling of a hearing or the length of time for a hearing.
I have no idea, so I would uh bow to whatever Expectation that you have. Thank you.
