And this being women's history month, if all the women would start it off. And I'm gonna the Browder County family's hurting a little this morning. And I'm gonna pass this over to Monica. Thank you, Mr
Vice Mayor. Um it is with a very heavy heart this morning that I have to share some
Some some bad and and tragic news. Um, overnight we had a an incident um involving two Broward County transit employees uh that resulted in the deaths of both individuals at our our Copen's bus facility, maintenance facility. Um it's not the kind of news we ever want to share. Um I ask that we all keep uh our co-workers, uh their families and loved ones. Um all in our thoughts and prayers and our deepest, most heartfelt condolences goes out to everyone. Thank you.

you. Commissioner Rogers. Yeah. As was stated by Monica and you will hear from everyone on this dais this morning that we are all mourning the loss of two family members, right, to Broward County. And Just just keep the families in our prayers and whatever we can do to help the families, just know that it will be done. Today I would also like to recognise from the City of Oakland Park Miss Vivian McFee Ward, also known as Deaconess Vivian. Transitioned on february seventeenth. She lived in Lake Lakeside community. She was a beloved member of the community and she her absence will be deeply missed because of her hard work. Her she will be missed. And I just wanted to acknowledge her today. Senator Gillard.

Bishop family from Parkland. Uh Daniel Bishop was the salutory in of Stoneman Douglas about four and a half
years ago. He unfortunately and tragically got struck by a car in Miami. He was on a scooter at the University of Miami. He was getting ready to graduate in about two months. Um he had a job set up at Gulliver
to be a math teacher. Super smart young guy. I know his parents. Jason and Susan Bishop and his sister Julia
they were very important part. Of the Parkland and North West Broward
family, a tragic, senseless. Just sad, sad loss for the community and I ask you to keep the whole family in their prayers.

Uh thank you, Vice Mayor. I just wanna recognize obviously addition to our tragedy that uh Sloane Maddie Lee was a seven year old that lost her life. Lorda by the sea, uh, when she was trapped in that hole at the beach. So we wanna she was from Indiana, pray for her family and also We lost another icon in Pompano Beach, uh Doctor Rick Poraro. A beloved dentist for many, many years and he was very instrumental in starting the Italian festival at St. Coleman's that is so successful and also served on multiple boards, so we want to keep his family in prayer. Thank you, Mayor.

friend of mine, Tony Harris from uh the Saint George community. Um we laid him to rest uh uh this week. And also um Classmate of mine from St. Thomas, Curtis Hudson out of the city of Lauder Hill. Um uh passed away and we just want to keep the families in prayer and any other uh
