McCall Sr. And this one was requested by the vice mayor of Isha Gordon, Oakland Park, in my district. 65 beloved husband, father, son, brother, and grandfather was born October 18, 1960, to the late Hattie Mae Sales and Larry McCall Jr. in Fort Lauderdale. Teddy was an Oakland Park local, as he was well-known throughout the city. He was very passionate about family and helping others.

To know him was to love him, and he will be truly missed. Mr. Clarence Wright, life well lived in service. Clarence did this by serving in the United States Air Force, first class communications specialist from 1954 to 58, civic leader in Broward County for 35 years. And I know Vice Mayor knows him well also. Broward County Parks. Well, good morning everybody and good morning. I'd like to talk to today. Today's music selection. Was a South Florida Symphony Orchestra and Steve Geller. Why don't you do an introduction and introduce these wonderful musicians? Thank you Mr. Mayor and I believe all of you have in front of you a card from the South Florida Symphony Orchestra. This is, as you can see, a string quartet. I will say that when Governor DeSantis did the Doge report saying how Broward County had wasted millions or hundreds or gazillions of dollars, one of the specific examples he gave was our funding of the cultural arts. I respectfully disagree. Funding of the cultural arts is not a waste of money. It is a demonstration by the county that we care about things.

Today's musical selection will be hearing one additional piece from the South Florida Symphony Orchestra. Musicians that will be playing are Wee Fang Chen on violin, David Kurtek on violin, Rosa Ortega Ianelli on the viola, and Kevin Philip Jones on the cello. I'd like to give special thanks to Jacqueline Lorber for facilitating this performance. Very happy to be able to provide live music today as a continuation of what some of you might remember. I call it the Geller series. I think it important. I know every other commissioner plays recorded music, and that's very appropriate.
