Does it matter? I'm just saying what has to be said. Okay, good evening everybody and welcome to the city commission uh uh meeting this December sixteenth, twenty twenty five. Little better. Okay. Um So thank you all for being here. For those of you who are here for the first time, welcome and uh want to thank you all for your patience.

I'm sorry we had a delayed start because we had a very lengthy conference meeting this afternoon. Um so for those of you who have not been here before, we begin our meetings with a pledge and a moment of silence, and then there are various housekeeping rules that we'll take care of, and then we we start with presentations. What are presentations? Presentations are opportunities for the commission and the community to recognize individuals, events, um uh things like that. And tonight we have three of them and we're very proud to uh invite a member of the m of this commission to make each presentation tonight. Having said that, uh I invite you all to please uh stand and join me for the Pledge of Allegiance.

Okay, uh Okay, thank you. I'll run the meeting. Thank you so much. So this has been a very difficult week for uh every community and those around the world and uh a lot of unfortunate mishaps and uh tragic events occurred and I'd like everyone to join me in a moment of silence.

Okay, thank you so much. Uh I also like to take a moment and uh recognize a couple of employees who are now going to be leaving the city after a number of years of service to us. First is Ernest Theme, uh who's been a lead facilities worker in public works, has been with us for twenty five years. Congratulations and thank you. And I also understand Clarence from uh C R A. Clarence, where are you? Clarence Woods. I think he's already left. I guess he left already. Wherever you are, Clarence, thank you. Uh this was this would be his last meeting. He's been with us uh many, many years, and I want to thank him for his service and his uh contribution to to working with us on the Community Redevelopment Agency board.

Here. We have a few agenda announcements. We're going to ask that R four and R six be deferred. R four is regarding the uh conceptual design uh regarding the Las Olas Mobility Project and R six is referring to the parking garage at Holiday Park. Uh we had a lengthy discussion this afternoon on that, but because of some uh the need to Uh to um find out more specific information on that, the Commission decided to move it over to the first meeting in January. Mayor, can I just along with that deferral for Las Olas mobility, so I got a phone call from Mr. Weymouth while we were on break and both he and Mr.
