Okay, so from the office of the mayor of the city of Fort Lauderdale, it's my honor to present this proclamation in recognition of National Procurement Month. Which is your life. It's not a month. Every day, right? So this March we celebrate National Procurement Month and the dedicated professionals who safeguard billions of dollars in goods and services that are obtained fairly and competitively for local, state, and federal agencies. Their expertise strengthens strengthens our communities and fuels the economy by securing the best value for taxpayers. Whereas public procurement professionals are stewards of taxpayer dollars. Their expertise in efficiency, ethics, and strategic sourcing maximizes the value of every dollar spent.

Whereas the procurement division has uh made a significant economic impact on the city, county and tri county area for the past five fiscal years and processed over two billion dollars in awarded procurements for the city of Fort Lauderdale while upholding the values of transparency.
