This May 21st, 2024, can I please ask you all to find a seat. And for those of you who are here for the first time, I'd like to welcome you and welcome to the City of Fort Lauderdale City Commission. We usually start with a pledge of allegiance and do a number of announcements. We have two presentations tonight also. Presentations are where we recognize individuals, events, departments, exciting times and it gives the city an opportunity to recognize those folks before we get into the actual agenda and the business of the evening. So if I can ask you all to please rise and join me in the Pledge of Allegiance. i pledge allegiance to the flag of the united states of america and to the republic for which it stands one nation under god indivisible with liberty and justice for all thank you please be seated if you could all please join me in a moment of silence during which time i would also ask you to uh recognize the several people who passed away in our community this past week our
Sheena Grant, who was an employee in our Human Resources Department. Mary Celeste Dinan also passed away, sister of a school board member. Eddie Lee Ingram Bell and Eva M. Hill. If you could, in fact, Eddie Lee Ingram Bell, she was 99 years old. She was a 70 year resident of Fort Lauderdale and a four plus decade educator. worked at Dillard, Walker Elementary, Larkdale, Plantation Park, and she was an advocate for the Golden Heights community. Also, Mrs. Eva Mosby-Hill, she was wife of one of the city's previous assistant city managers. So if you could please join me in that moment of silence.

Mayor Trentals. Here. I have a few agenda announcements and some agenda changes. In CM2, the dates were revised in the CAM and the exhibits. And the April 2nd, 2024 conference meeting minutes were removed for revisions that need to be done and they will be approved at a later time. We have three walk-ons. One is a walk-on motion for discussion regarding a site plan level two for a restaurant with outdoor dining at 300 South Andrews Avenue. We're going to take that up right after our consent agenda items have been voted on. Then we also have a walk-on motion which will take place at the end of the meeting regarding the acquisition of a Manolo Valdez sculpture that would be in the huizinga park and then we have a walk-on resolution that's being requested by commissioner sterman concerning our support for the school board in in its effort to try to realign some of its building priorities and efficiencies so with that do i hear a motion to approve the well we don't have minutes

And I would please ask Alan Dodd, who is the Director of Public Works, Talal Abikaram, who is the Assistant Director of Utilities, Omar Castellon, the Assistant Director of Engineering, and Steve Hilberg, Senior Project Manager,
and Senior Project Manager, Gatorian Wallace, who is the Stormwater Operations Chief. Please join me at the podium.
