Thank you. I just want to take a second out of our routine. I want to announce there are three people who have retired in the month of May. Been here quite a few years. George Schutzer, Captain in Fire Rescue, been with us 26 years. Melvin Howell, a facilities worker in Parks and Recreation, has been with us again 26 years. And Peter Jarman, a senior accountant in finance, has been with us for 34 years. So congratulations on your retirement, and thank you for your commitment to our community. Okay, so we have a couple of agenda announcements. The April 16th, 2024 conference meeting minutes on page two and three, double deck was corrected to double depth, DEPTH. I know that was keeping everybody up at night.
Dean Trantalis 2:28
CM4, exhibit three and exhibit four were revised to correct the date of the event. CR 1, Item D and Item H of the Consolidated Budget Amendment were amended to the CAM and Exhibit 1. CP 4, the fourth paragraph of the background section of the CAM was revised from 60% design plans to 30% design plans. What's that about? CP4, all right. R4, the agenda item title and CAM incorrectly refers to the advisory committee as an advisory board. The resolution correctly refers to the committee as the city manager advisory committee. And finally, in R5, Exhibit 5, an agreement is being amended to include Exhibit F, and Exhibit 6 is amended as indicated by the red line text with the amended agreement attached as Exhibit A.
Dean Trantalis 3:26
So those are the changes. Do I hear a motion to approve the minutes and the agenda as amended? So moved. Do I hear a second? Second. Okay. Moved and seconded. Please call the roll.
Unknown 3:41
Commissioner Beasley-Pittman? Yes. Commissioner Sturman? Yes. Commissioner Herbst? Yes. Vice Mayor Glassman?
Dean Trantalis 3:47
Yes.
Unknown 3:47
Mayor Trentals?
Dean Trantalis 3:48
Yes. And those have now been approved. Let us now move on to our regular. There are no presentations tonight. So for those of you who are here for the first time, normally a presentation is where we recognize individuals, organizations, or events that take special note for that particular week or month. But tonight there will be none. So we'll move on right to the regular agenda. At this point, I will ask any member of the commission if they have an item on the consent agenda which they would like to pull. So, Commissioner Herbst, are there any items in the consent agenda you wish to pull? None. Commissioner Beasley-Pittman? None. Vice Mayor? Yes, CM4. Thank you. CM4. And Commissioner Sturman?
I have two. CR1 and CR6. six yes
Dean Trantalis 4:45
okay so those three items cm4 cr1 and cr6 will be discussed and voted on separately uh if you came here once i might have one more to pull okay if you if you uh if you've signed up to speak on any one of those and i see cm4 okay So those who came to speak on CM4, we will permit you to speak on that when that item is discussed. Other than CM4, CR1, and CR6, do I hear a motion to approve the items on the consent agenda? So moved. Do I hear a second? Second. Moved and seconded. Please call the roll.
Unknown 5:38
Commissioner Beasley-Pittman? Yes. Commissioner Sturman? Yes. Commissioner Herbst? Yes. Vice Mayor Glassman? Yes. Mayor Trentals?
Dean Trantalis 5:44
Yes. And so those consent agenda items are now approved. If you came here for one of those items, your item has now been approved, and you're welcome to stay the rest of the meeting if you'd like.
