Thank you all for being here tonight. We understand that uh we delayed the meeting and I apologize for the delay, but our afternoon meeting and CRA meeting uh went a little too long. And I want to thank you for your patience for be uh for uh remaining with us. Um so for those of you who are here for the first time, I want to welcome you all and uh just to let you know a few of the the processes that we follow. out with the Pledge of Allegiance and then we um have a moment of silence and then there are some announcements and then we do some presentations. And we have a couple of very important presentations tonight. So uh uh if you could please uh uh r remain in uh in the meeting so that uh we can uh enjoy those moments and share it with everybody here in the room.

But what is So often be uh before we begin our meeting I like to recognize uh people who have uh worked for the city of Fort Lauderdale and who are now retiring. So um I'd like to recognize Greg Wolf, um, Beach Patrol Lieutenant and Fire Rescue, who has been with us is this right? Fifty and a half years. Oh wow. Amazing. Congratulations and thank you. Thank you. Wow. Thank you for your service. I also would like to recognize that today, I believe it's today, is former President Carter's one hundredth birthday. Congratulations. God bless him. Uh we have a couple of agenda announcements. Uh NP one has been removed from the agenda. Mr. Ray is unable to attend tonight. Okay, which

That's the neighborhood presentation. Okay, hang on. Let me do okay. He's gonna he wants to request to uh speak in November, which is fine. And then uh Commissioner uh Sturman, you asked that the OFR two be deferred to October fifteenth. Yes,
I would appreciate that. So we'll just remove So we'll
just remove that and we'll just readvertise it. And then there'll be two walk ons tonight. Uh motion approving a lease agreement between the North Broward Hospital District and the City of Fort Lauderdale for the Broward Health Park at Imperial Point, honoring Dottie Mancini and substantially the form provided that I think we all have. And also a second walk on, which is a resolution requesting the school board of Broward County uh to retain possession of school sites considered for closure in order to preserve an opportunity for school expansion in the future, engage with local schools committee uh communities prior to redesigning. uh repurposing or closing any schools and consider the need for family literacy and early childhood learning centers and the suggested alternative uses in any redesign plan.
Okay, having said that, there's some changes um to the agenda. CM1, Exhibit 1 was revised to update the correct parade route. Um that's important. Uh CM eight, the CAM, exhibits two and three were revised. Ex uh exhibit two A was removed. CR five, the CAM and exhibits one and two were revised. And M six, the agenda item is in both districts two and four. All right. Having said all that, uh do I hear a motion to approve the minutes and the agenda. Which one is in two and four? M what? M six. They left out District Two.
