This will be the last meeting we have for the uh the year twenty twenty four. Yay. And uh And um before we begin the meeting I certainly want to wish everybody a very, very happy holiday season. Uh Merry Christmas, Hanukkah. Uh we'll be also recognizing Kwanzaa uh right after cr Christmas, so we'll be announcing uh the day that we'll be participating in that celebration. And uh I just want to uh thank everybody for this year. I wanna thank everybody for voting this year and uh uh Uh we really look forward for the next four years to continue to serve in our community. It's just uh it just requires a public hearing and not just a consent agenda item. So with that in mind Would someone please like to move to approve the minutes as well as the agenda as amended? Uh now we have one presentation tonight, and this is uh the time in our on our meeting, our evening meeting, where we recognize individuals or organizations. In this particular case, we're going to be recognizing the uh the Florida Department of Health is recognizing the city of Fort Lauderdale as a s water smart community. So I'd like to invite uh Mario Sosa, uh, who is the Drowning Prevention Program. program manager from the Florida Department of Health in Broward County to please step up to the podium and and talk to us.
