Good evening, everybody, and welcome to the City Commission this uh February fourth, twenty twenty five. Thank you all for being here today. We have some special announcements a little later and uh a lot of people were here to recognize. But um b those of you who are here for the first time, let me welcome you and uh let you know that we begin our our our meetings with the Pledge of Allegiance and certain announcements and any changes to the minutes in the agenda. agenda and then we go right into our presentation. So um Tonight, uh, we will do our Pledge of Allegiance and I will like to invite Morgan Penro of Ga Gateway Christian Academy. Morgan, is Morgan here? Morgan. I guess not. So May I ask you all to please rise and join me in the pledge.

Uh january seventh, twenty twenty five, page nine, last paragraph was revised to replace this neighbor with the neighborhood. Uh and C M seven, uh we correct the district. This is supposed to be district four. And C R two, letter F of the CAM, correct, district is again district four. So

So earlier this evening, um the city, uh Commission and staff had the opportunity to recognize uh the teachers of the year in all of our uh schools that are in Fort Lauderdale and We have those teachers here today and right now and um Uh it's really an honor for us to begin this program. This is the first year, and uh it's something we will do on an annual basis because I think it's important for teachers to be recognized for the great work that they do and for the dedication that they commit to the children and to the parents and to the community each day they uh they show up for work.
