Mm. Good evening, everybody, and welcome to the City Commission meeting this evening, April first, twenty twenty five. Thank you all for being here tonight. For those of you who are here for the first time, welcome and we appreciate your attendance at our meeting this evening. Um The normal format that we follow is we start out with the Pledge of Allegiance, um have a moment of silence and then get into the agenda. And we follow that with uh with various presentations recognizing individuals, uh events, organizations uh that are important to our community and a member of the commission will um will be making such presentations tonight. So if I can begin tonight's meeting by inviting Michael Cunningham from the Carter Park Trip Programme to please come to the podium and join me in the uh Pledge of Allegiance.

First I'd like to uh recognize Joe Georgiana, who has been an HVAC uh technician for parks and recreation. He's been with us for twenty years. So thank you so much, Joe. And Donna Barisco, executive assistant to the city manager, been in the city manager's office. I know twenty nine years, Donna. Thank you so much. The things you've seen in twenty nine years. Okay. There'll be a walk on resolution authorizing the city manager to execute a grant application to the Florida Inland Navigation District. This is regarding a seawall replacement and also a walk-on resolution reaffirming resolution twenty-four-two eighty regarding the preferred alternative for the for the New River crossing. We have a couple of agenda revisions. Uh R2, uh exhibit two, the resolution was revised to include additional language at the request of the Florida Inland Navigation District. District.
