HEY, GOOD EVENING, EVERYBODY. WELCOME TO THE CITY COMMISSION MEETING THIS JUNE 3, 2025. THANK YOU ALL FOR BEING HERE TONIGHT. WE APPRECIATE YOUR ATTENDANCE AND FOR THOSE OF YOU WHO ARE HERE FOR THE FIRST TIME, THANK YOU FOR COMING AND WE HAVE A CERTAIN FORMAT WHICH WE BEGIN OUR MEETINGS. WE START WITH THE PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE AND THEN We have various presentations, and tonight we have three presentations. Presentations are a way for the Commission to recognize individuals, events, certain activities taking place in our city, They're usually accompanied by a proclamation in which one of the members of the commission will recite along with the recipient. So if I could please ask Marlee Brown and Connor Giles from Riverland Elementary School to please join me at the podium.

And when we take that moment, I want to first thank our firefighters, the personnel who attempted to try to save the lives of people who were involved in boat explosions this past week. And we found out, I believe, yesterday that one of those people that suffered injuries, ultimately passed away. So please take a moment of silence and keep them in your prayers.

Thank you. I have a couple of announcements to make. We have some retirements, people who have served our city for a very long period of time. First of all, John Heiser, captain in the fire department, who served us for 25 years. Thank you, John, for your dedication and commitment to our city. And Eric Stern, a firefighter, who's been with us for 20 years. Thank you and congratulations. Thank you for your service. Um, so with that being said, Mr. Clerk, please call the roll.

Here. We have a few agenda announcements. Uh, April 1st, 2025, the, uh, regular commission minutes were removed for revisions. And so there's another set of minutes, uh, minutes that we will vote on tonight. Um, PH1, uh, IS LABELED A PUBLIC HEARING IN ERROR AND THIS IS GOING TO BE CHANGED TO AN ORDINANCE FIRST READING. WE HAVE A WALK-ON RESOLUTION ACCEPTING AN UNSOLICITED PROPOSAL FROM MERIDIUM INFRASTRUCTURE NORTH AMERICA AND TO ACCEPT OTHER PROPOSALS FOR THE SAME PROJECT FOR CITY HALL. AND ANOTHER WALK-ON DELEGATING AUTHORITY TO OUR CITY MANAGER TO NEGOTIATE A TEMPORARY LICENSE BEACH LICENSE AND OUTDOOR EVENT AGREEMENT OR BOTH WITH EITHER THE FLORIDA PANTHERS HOCKEY CLUB LIMITED OR THE FLORIDA PANTHERS FOUNDATION.

AND TO DETERMINE THE LEVEL OF IN-KIND CITY SERVICES PROVIDED TO SUPPORT THE PANTHERS IN POST-SEASON CELEBRATION EVENTS. GO CATS, RIGHT? YES. OKAY. SO ALSO, CM1 IN THE CAM AND EXHIBIT 1 WERE REVISED TO MAKE CHANGES IN THE PROPOSED PARADE ROUTE. SO WITH THAT HAVING BEEN SAID, DO I HEAR A MOTION TO APPROVE THE MINUTES AND THE AGENDA AS AMENDED?
