So thank you all for coming tonight, everybody. Um for those of you who are here for the first time, welcome and uh we appreciate your participating in our in our program tonight. Um we begin with our Pledge of Allegiance and then uh we have a few agenda announcements and then we then we uh before we begin our evening meeting we have certain presentations. Tonight's presentations will recognize individuals, uh organizations or events that are taking place in our city. And there'll be five tonight. So uh Uh then we'll get on with our meeting.

Susan is our chief education officer and uh tonight we're going to recognize students from uh Dillard High School. Uh And the Dillard Innovation Zone Student Recognition Program. Uh Susan. Thank you. Good evening. Increíble. The city of Fort Lauderdale recognizes that acknowledging and valuing students can sif can significantly increase their self esteem and their self confidence. Recognition empowers students to more fully engage in their education and in their community. The student recognition program here is based on the eight essential core character traits as identified by the school board of Browery County. Tonight we are recognizing students from the Dillard Zone. So I'd like to begin with Dillard Elementary School and Joshua Lubin.

Yeah. Joshua is in fourth grade and he is consistently recognized by both staff and students and peers as helpful and dependable and he goes out of his way to assist others and contribute positively to his school community.
