Apologies. Um so on page four, uh local authority home rule was added where, you know, our most precious power is our home rule. Um Tallahassee continues to erode and chip away at our ability to self-govern. So there is the statement that we do oppose any type of policies or legislation that contain serious preemption that would limit our ability to operate as a city. Um moving on to page six, which are the commission's legislative priorities. Um I just moved up it's a a stylistic technical to move to the city attorney where we support legislation to change the date for non advalorm tax um the assessment. Those are holdovers. They were in previous programs and we continue to advocate for those. Um two things and to amend the section allowing closed door meetings on pre suit liability claims.
So until we are successful with that, they will continue to be in programs um from this point forward.

The second thing that was edited was housing and community development, where uh we just needed to clean up some language about allowing municipalities to create a program for seniors to subsidize the costs incurred as a result of the new condo legislation. We were going to work with the city attorney's office to craft that language and possibly submit it. Here it

So new condo legislation w um has been implemented. I know Senator Pizzo has been doing some workshops in town halls about it.
