Okay. I did have a uh meeting with Molly Novotny on Tuesday uh regarding uh Leesburg Gateway and the um town plan application. And I think that was the sum of our discussion. Um petitioners. We have three public hearings this evening. Um, are there any petitioners who would like to speak on something other than those three public hearings? And I'll even let you know what they are. They are enterprise car rental. McDonald's Drive Thru edition. And Leesburg Gateway. Town plan revision. Anyone like to talk to us about something other than those? Okay. And we're going to dive right into the public hearings. Um the first public hearing. Um we're going to call to order the June fifth, twenty twenty five public hearing of the Leesburg Planning Commission on
TL SPEX 20240017 Enterprise Car Rental. Debbie Perry, Planner, Department of Community Development will present it. All members of the public are welcome to address a commission on this application. Persons wishing to address a commission should sign up at the podium. Once recognized by the chair, individuals should dress advance to the podium and state his or her name and address. Persons also should indicate whether they are representing anyone other than themselves. After the presentation or comments, please be seated. Unless a chair or member of the Commission has questions of the petitioner or speaker. Statements which are demeaning or defamatory to members of the public, staff, or the commission are inappropriate and out of order.
In the interest of fairness, we also ask that you observe the three-minute time limit. You will hear a bell at the end of three minutes. At that time, we would appreciate your summing up and yielding the floor when the bell indicates your time has expired. This rule applies to all citizens, however. If you're representing a group such as an HOA, please indicate the group you're representing when you sign up and you'll be allowed up to five minutes to speak. The procedure for the public hearing is as follows. First, the staff will present their report. Second, the applicant will present their case. If they would like to. Third members of the public will have their opportunity to speak I think Then we'll bring this up for Planning Commission questions.

Thank you very much, Madam Chair. As Chair Robinson mentioned, I am Debbie Perry. I'm a land use planner in the Department of Community Development. And I'm very thankful that the screens are working, because last time I was here they were not. So we're already off to a great start. So our first request here this evening is to allow a vehicle rental facility. And a Wash Bay located at seventeen Fort Evans Road. This is an existing auto use oriented use which will be replaced by a new. auto-oriented use. The applicant enterprise was located here in town as one of our cherished local businesses. However, they were displaced during the development activities at Virginia Village. So they've been working very hard with our town economic development staff to identify a new site.
This request also comes along with five modifications that we'll go into in just a few minutes. So this here is our subject property. It is located at 17 Fort Evans Road.
