What agenda items are introduced at the beginning of the meeting?
We're gonna get started. I'd like to call to order the November sixth, twenty twenty five Facility Standards Manual Public Review Committee meeting. No members are participating remotely and committee members disclose that they are members of one or more affected groups. And their respective declarations of interest are kept on file in the minutes of the Facility Standards Annual Public Review Committee. Everybody got a package from Laura. Um Got a few things on our agenda and one kind of really new item that we're gonna get to at the very end of the meeting. Um Do we have public anyone from the public here that
Did you want to make any public comments?
Yeah, joined the preschool. All right. Um we have minutes from our last meeting on October sixteenth. Um Open the floor to any amendments or Edits. There are none. I appreciate uh Motion to approve. So moved. Who is that? Oh, thank you. So there's no second. All in favor, please say aye. Aye. The opposed? Awesome. Um Laurie, did you wanna go over the meeting schedule for next year? Is that
I would like to but before I go there, I will say I know um We talked about in our coordination meeting that we have three more meetings this year. Um, so we have One more meeting in November and two more meetings in December. They're all sort of subject to discussion about whether we would have them based on progress and things like that. So um in our coordination meetings, Kevin and Pete will help us make those calls. Um, but we are supposed to be in this room. the remainder of the year. I will say the third Thursday, the setup's gonna be whatever it is because it's BZA night. And I have to honor their layout. So Might say things looking a little different for our second meeting back. Нек ще приезд.
that this room was actually booked a couple of times, even though it's recently reopened, including the very last meeting that I was trying to schedule the whole year. So it must be over a holiday party.
How does the committee discuss the upcoming meeting schedule and calendar approvals?
Um I was not able to get it, but What I generally did was I kept our meeting scheduled the first and the third Thursday from three to five. Um, January first is a holiday, so I just said we wouldn't meet on that first meeting date of the new year. Um January fifteenth, the room was booked, but I had options. I booked the Percival room, which is the room that you walk past to come in here, or our room at Sicklin Road. I wonder if the personal room is really big enough for us. People tell me it is. I am suspicious of that. No.
I think it'd be really tight.
Yeah.
That's what I think too, but Um
I think if Ciclin's open I can
Okay, so we prefer Cicklin. Okay. And Then the only other meeting a July second we could technically meet, but the third is the holiday for the fourth of July weekend and we we tend to have trouble with attendance because people are traveling. So I was gonna go ahead and cancel that one as well. That's what I was proposing. August meetings are tentative. And then the same thing for December seventeenth, we would round out the year. Either in person or cycle in, but we'll pick cycle in. I booked them both, so you have your choice. And then the other option too is of course we currently can have up to twenty-five percent of the meetings remotely. We could decide to do that. Um we'll be doing a bylaws update next year sometime that will actually take that figure to 50%.
But they can't be back to back. So
I think if we're meeting twice a month we wanna take advantage of that as much as we can. That's my opinion.
So that'll be something we can talk some more about and when we want to weave those in. Um I did reserve these rooms. I will make sure that I cancel my reservation for Percival. But basically what I'm trying to do is get approval of this calendar so that I can post this on the public calendar for next year. Good with it. And do you have any concerns about schedule? And we're okay with not having we'll have one meeting in January and one in July and we'll just plan
Just a hit I may not be here for the November twentieth meeting.
our next meeting here this year.
