committee members disclose that they are members of one or more affected groups and their respective declarations of interest are kept on file in the minutes of the Facility Standards Manual Public Review Committee.
Matt Leslie 0:34
Thanks, Pete. So we can move
Laura 0:42
on to minutes if you would like to, since we have a quorum.
Matt Leslie 0:47
Yeah,
Pete 0:48
let's go ahead.
Matt Leslie 0:48
Okay. Let's go ahead
Pete 0:49
and
Laura 0:51
go to the minutes. So they were long. I keep trying to make them shorter, but there was just we covered four different topics, so it's kind of hard. I don't know if you guys want me to kind of just walk through. I'll just give you the headers. We had a floodplain workgroup update. We presented an overview of the new ENCODE FSM and LSDL project. And then we talked about the 10 year private road reserve fund letters. And we discussed some more research on gated communities, information from the developer of the sample project we discussed and from Prince William County. We had members sharing information that they had gathered also. So that's kind of where we were. Did anybody have any recommended updates for minutes?
Megan 1:44
You were spelling queuing in your third bullet that you show up as a C-U instead of a Q-U. Just
Unknown 1:52
a spelling.
Megan 1:52
Okay, let me see if I can find that. Yeah. No, you do
Matt Leslie 1:59
it C-U-I-N-G. Oh, my gosh. That's
Megan 2:08
okay. I understood what you were saying. Sometimes it's Q. It's
Laura 2:14
Q-U-E-I-N-G, right? Mm-hmm. OK, so that's I need to go through and make how many of them worth it. OK, one is all right here. Seems like I figured it out eventually
Megan 2:30
doing. Q I'm sorry you you EU ING. It's EU. I that's what your notes say. I didn't spell check that. I
Matt Leslie 2:47
bless bill check. I think it is something like C-E-U. Q-U. Q-U-E-U.
Laura 3:06
Thank you. I only have one more. I just figured I would do them so I wouldn't forget and post it with the error in it. Q-U-E-U-I-N-G. Okay. Did anybody check it? Is it right if you Google it?
Zeb 3:26
You got it right. That's right.
Laura 3:28
Now it's correct. Okay. Good catch. Thank you, Megan.
Matt Leslie 3:32
Anybody else have other things? Okay. If not, Pete, are you looking for a motion? I am looking for a motion. Okay. Approve.
Pete 3:49
Do I hear a motion to approve?
Unknown 3:51
Second.
Laura 3:54
Okay, I heard Megan make the motion. Who was the second?
Matt Leslie 3:57
That
Unknown 3:57
was me,
Matt Leslie 3:58
Matt Leslie. Thanks, Matt. Okay. Pete, do you want to
Laura 4:08
ask if everybody agrees?
Pete 4:11
Yeah. For all favor, say aye. Aye. All opposed? Say nay. All right, approved.
Matt Leslie 4:23
Thank you all. Let me
Laura 4:24
quickly save this to my updated folder.
Matt Leslie 4:33
Organization here. OK. I think it's saving. And then I can close that.
Laura 4:43
OK. Would you like me to continue with the floodplain workgroup update?
Pete 4:50
Yep, that's
Laura 4:52
good. Let's go. OK, so I will start and give staff an opportunity to comment and then I'd like to see if Megan and Phil have anything they want to add. We did have a meeting yesterday. The floodplain workgroup sat down and met. They actually looked at the revised draft FSM text focused on floodplain alterations and. Pete's coming back in and it was a really productive meeting. They got through the draft text. We're going to be making some edits, getting it back out to them and they'll reconvene on January 7th. Hope is to finish at that time. If not, we would add a meeting. So I know Gwen and Maggie, you probably have something you might want to add to that.
Unknown 5:40
I don't really have anything to add. Like Laura said, the conversations, obviously Phil and Megan are there, have been very productive. I think we've made a lot of headway and we are, like I said, hoping to wrap it up on the 7th of January. So, and then to bring forthcoming. So that's
Matt Leslie 6:07
it. And Maggie, did you want to add
Unknown 6:08
anything
Matt Leslie 6:09
or?
Unknown 6:10
No, I don't think so. I mean, like Gwen said, we're hoping to wrap it up in January, and we're working on actually drafting the language now after having some really good discussions. Perfect.
Laura 6:24
Phil, Megan, did you guys want to chime in, share your thoughts?
Phil 6:28
Just a lot of good progress on the meeting yesterday, and as has already been said, I think it's more of a polishing of the text that we already went through one time yesterday in January, and then hopefully we're good to go.
