Unknown 0:02
I think there's definitely possibility. Yeah. It has to be too much and
Unknown 0:33
Okay, probably get started in a minute. Everybody still hear me online? Okay. It's the most popular. I mean I I really appreciate it.
Unknown 1:13
I thought you could probably very much.
Unknown 1:30
Just a little bit. I think it's okay. Oh no, I thought.
Steve 2:01
All right, good morning everybody. It is ten o'clock, so let's go ahead and get started. And a big old crew here today. Welcome. All right. Everybody doing okay? Got some thumbs up back there. It's all this new logo stuff people are wearing. That's good. So give it up for Abby and her team for the roll out on that.
Unknown 2:29
Good job.
Steve 2:35
I felt it was important for connection before content this morning to highlight something that I say to every new staff that comes in uh during the new employee orientation. Um and that is a reminder, folks, that What we do in the community is very, very important. But we also need to remember every single day. That everything that we do Is optional for them. They don't have to choose. To come to our centers. They don't have to choose to send their kids to our CASA program. They don't have to choose to come to our parks, particularly in Loudoun. Where HOA has more acreage Than we do. Okay. They choose to do that. They choose to come to us. Because they trust us. Because we have a good reputation. And that takes work.
Steve 3:40
Every single day. By each and every one of us. Okay. We are up against Other people that are providing services to us. But the reason why they come to us Is because of what you do. Every single day. But that is hard. It is hard to be at that level every single day, which is why I always say to you all, you need to take care of yourselves. So that you can be at that level each and every day. Бо і цалсова. It's why we need to make sure that we are checking one another. So that we stay here. Because there is no other department in Loudoun County or in the state. like Loudoun County PRCS. And that's because of what you all do each and every day. And it's because the fact that people trust us and we have the reputation that we have.
Steve 4:37
But we need to keep working on that every single day to make sure that we stay here. Okay, because people have choices. And that's the way it should be. All right. Think about that. As we go into a time of the year When Things get a little out of control springtime and summertime. So Um Talking about The excellence that we do all the time. Ага, на емей. Jeremy,
Unknown 5:15
you and I were walking in together. Yeah. I do with that email. Sitting over there. Yeah.
Unknown 5:27
I just had it.

How did the team celebrate the new logo rollout and recognize Abby’s contributions?

Steve 5:31
Well, I'm gonna I'm not gonna read the email then. I'm gonna talk about this. So we had a an email that came in and it was a very special event that this family was doing. It was a once in a lifetime type event. And so if you can imagine if you've only got one shot You know, like a wedding or like a bar mitzvah or a sixteenth birthday. Those types of things happen one time. And if you don't get it right. That's a future fun type thing where you can talk and tell stories about it. But on the night It's not good if it doesn't go well. This email went on and on and on about how our staff went more than once above and beyond to make sure that every little single thing was perfect. And it ended up being perfect.
Steve 6:28
And when this email comes in, and I do get emails from a lot of different places uh about our programs, but this person had taken the time to write out about each individual staff member and what they did to make this an exceptional event. So on behalf of the well I'm already through it now, but the Yeah, I said exactly what's on this. So on behalf of all of the staff, I want to invite Tina to come up because it was the lodge that provided this event and this service uh here recently for a family for their bar mitzvah. So on behalf of
Unknown 7:14
the staff in the line.
Unknown 7:36
And it's the first time
Steve 7:37
we never had anybody talk.
Unknown 7:39
Well, uh you know, as much as the Lodge does what they do, it's not just me who does that. It's a team that really puts this together and makes this building run. So I don't wanna take all the credit, but I really wanna share that credit with my team because they're the ones that really
