I'd like to call to order the Loudoun County Board of Supervisors business meeting, our February 4th business meeting. This room has a hearing loop.

Supervisors, I have been, if you've noticed, I've been very hesitant to say names, even though we know some because they haven't been formally released. And what I thought was at the next meeting, we can say all the names and if they're your constituents, you could say those names.

Pursuant to Code Section 2.2-3708.3 and the Board of Supervisors Rules of Order, Supervisor Bricksman from the Ogonkian District and Supervisor Glass from the Broad Run District both requested to participate remotely by electronic communications. A physical quorum of the Board of Supervisors is present in the boardroom and the board has made arrangements for the voices of Supervisor Bricksman and Glass to be heard by all persons in the boardroom. Supervisor Bricksman and Glass made this request within the required time frame and the county administrator, I'm sorry, the county attorney determined that their request met the qualifications to participate remotely. The board will record in this minutes that Supervisor Bricksman participated remotely from a private location in Brookline, Maine for personal reasons.

Supervisor Glass participated remotely from her home in Loudoun County due to an illness. We do expect Supervisors Kirshner and Supervisor Sane to join us this evening. They are both probably just running a little late from their jobs. Supervisors, I'm going to defer the Black History Resolution tonight and everyone who's in the resolution has been called and told. I'm doing that because we can defer it to the 19th of February, that's still Black History Month, But in light of the tragedy that happened, I just decided that we can do celebrations and resolutions another time. So there are no resolutions on the dais tonight. They're in the resolutions tonight. We do have item number 11, which we have to do a ratification of a straw poll, and that straw poll is to grant the George C. Marshall Center the donor matter expansion project for the 2020, put it in this 2025 state legislative program.
