What are the opening remarks and procedural announcements at the start of the meeting?
Yeah.
Uh
Whoa!
No, no.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Good evening, everyone. Um, do I have a script here somewhere? I hope. I don't think I do. Uh I don't think I do. I certainly have a script. Thank you very much. Thank you all very much. I'd like to call to order the June 20th, 2024 Transportation and Land Use Committee meeting. This room has a hearing loop. If you need hearing assistance, switch your hearing aids to telecoil mode. If you need a headset, we have those available as well. Please see the clerk to request one. I am going to start with Uh one of the items need is going to be we're gonna have a motion to defer the item until the July meeting and I will entertain a motion to do that.
Thank you, Chair. Um I'm moving to defer item number eight, the unpaved roads program, to the July, I believe it's seventeenth T luck meeting. I just want to make sure I have the right date.
Yeah.
Okay. And
second motion made by uh Supervisor Kirschner, second by uh Supervisor Tacroni. Can we confirm that July T Lut date real quick?
That's what I have on my calendar, but I know we've moved a few things around, so I just want to done a Wednesday. Is that a Wednesday? Yep.
Okay. That should be it.
That is the third Wednesday.
Yeah, that's it. All right. Okay. Um Motion made and seconded uh opening statement.
The only thing I would say the chair is and thank you for is that uh this is it we came to the I came to the realization, as did some of the other supervisors here, that this uh this is not quite ready for prime time. The goal really is to make sure we get this right. One month delay is gonna make no difference and we're gonna meet with staff, uh probably V dot county administrator in our offices to make sure we c m fully understand the ramifications of um w the how we proceed on this. So I think we'll be in good much better shape at that time.
Okay. Any other questions, comments? Closing. Uh all those in favor, please say aye. Aye. Any opposed? That motion will pass 5-0 and that item is deferred. I'd like to propose the following items for consent. Um the uh number item number three, which was on consent, has we've uh had a supervisor on the committee committee uh ask for that to come off consent. So item three is off consent. I would like pr to propose that items four, five, six, Four, five, and six go on consent and uh Without objection, those will be placed on consent. I don't think we need a formal vote. Is there any objection to those as a consent items?
Mr. Chairman, there's no vote, but I think Mr. Hemp
Street would try to get your attention.
Oh, I'm sorry, Mr. Hemp Street. Um I'm sorry, thank you, uh Chair Randall. Just to confirm on your last item uh on the record, July seventeenth is the next TLUC meeting. So
thank you. Thank you. Um So without objection, those items number four, number five, and number six are on consent. Any discussion on uh let me read those very quickly. Uh number four is FY 2024 Affordable Dwelling Unit Advisory Board Annual Report. Number five is the FY 2024 Housing Advisory Board Annual Report. Number six is the Planning Commission bylaws update and presentation of the 2023 Annual Report. Any other questions or comments? on the consent agenda. Hearing none, all those in favor please say aye. Aye. A opposed. That put motion will pass five zero for the consent agenda. And for this evening, I would like to ask staff to come to the table. We're gonna start with the um uh rural CPAM item number seven, and we'll begin with that if I could get the staff to come forward.
I hope I didn't catch them off
guard. I'll bet I did. Uh Chair Turner. Uh for the record, who seconded the consent motion? Oh
I'll s I'll s I'll second. I don't think we did.
S well I don't think we did. Supervisor DeCroni just uh said she'd second it. All right, thank you. Thank you. I apologize, shouldn't there should not be this kind of administrative cleanup during a meeting, but we're all pretty rushed here today. Uh and here is staff. Excellent. Thank you.
A few more will be coming once a moment, please.
Mr. Galindo expected a staff of thousands here.
