All right. I would like to call to order the July 17th, 2024 Transportation and Land Use Committee meeting. This is my first time doing this, so please have some patience. Pursuant to Virginia Code Section 2.23708.3 and the Board's Rules of Order, Supervisor Turner requested to participate in this meeting by electronic communication. A physical quorum of TLUC is present in the boardroom, and the committee has made arrangements for the voice of Supervisor Turner to be heard by all persons in the boardroom. supervisor turner made this request within the required time frame and the county attorney determined that supervisor's turner turner's request meets the qualifications to participate remotely the committee will record that supervisor turner participated remotely from a private location in his residence in loudon county due to illness and we wish you well mike so um in the spirit of supervisor turner i have a fun fact

Bears do love honey and are attracted to beehives, but unlike in Winnie the Pooh, the bears eat more than just honey. They will also consume the bees and the larvae inside the beehive, which are a good source of protein. Bears endure stings to get the prized larvae and eggs in the brood comb of a hive. Good evening, Committee Chair Cercone and members of the Transportation and Land Use Committee. Mark Aveni, Assistant Director of General Services. Very happy to be here this evening to introduce the 2014 Annual Report and Bylaws Amendment for your Environmental Commission. I'm going to do something a little different. I'm going to turn it over to Kira Moore, who is actually our Environmental Program Manager and the liaison with the Environmental Commission.
