Hello? Good afternoon, Chair Jefferson and members of the board. My name is Mary Ann Gadban. I live in the Gainesville district on Pageland Lane. I'm a lifelong resident of Prince William County. I've been on Pagelin Lane for forty-five years and I've been a commercial broker bringing economic development to Prince William County for about that same period of time. I'm here today. on behalf of approximately four hundred Pageant residents, your constituents, who came together in good faith to change and request a change to the comprehensive plan and a rezoning on Pageon Lane. We made that decision because our reality had changed. Our community is no longer rural. We are surrounded by existing massive Dominion Transmission Corridor, and we now have a new hundred-foot transmission corridor coming through new areas on our property.

Last but not least, we have the Gainesville Crossing, which is a three million square foot data center that was approved in December of 2019 on Pageland Lane, next door to the Manassas Battlefield. That was approved within about 90 minutes, start to finish. There was no outcries from Heritage Hunt, no outcries from the Manassas Battlefield Park or Oak Valley. What's happened to the digital gateway is different. It has been driven by individuals and organizations who do not live on Page Land Lane, who do not bear the impacts that we do, and who have not always represented our community truthfully. That has created a narrative that is overriding the voices of the actual property owners. We've seen this before.

The Manassas Battlefield tried to take our properties when they created the Ba by County Parkway. We fought them then to protect our property rights, and we'll have to do that here again. The digital gateway was overturned, not on merit, but due to our county procedural error. That impact has been absolutely catastrophic to our community. And yet the people most affected say the very least. Please remember we're your constituents. Please remember we are not other people's open space. And please remember we are not the Royal Crescent. We are families, we are taxpayers. We want to be treated the same way as you treated the people on Vent Hill Road when they decided they needed to change their properties.
