Deshundra Jefferson 14:23
All right everyone, it is two o'clock. I'm asking that everyone take a seat. We are going to begin with a moment of silence and it's gonna be in honor of our colleague who we lost. Supervisor Bob Weir. Supervisor Bob. left an incredible mark on our county. Um and his unexpected loss is a loss for all of us. So I'm honored that his team has joined us today. I'm honored because I know I have a lot of people here who are coming to speak in honor of him. It's gonna be a tough day for us. It's gonna be a tough week, tough months, and those are gonna be some really hard shoes to fill. But with that, I'd like us all to take a moment of silence.
Deshundra Jefferson 15:28
And before we go into a pledge, I just want to make a couple of announcements. The town of Haymarket is going to do a proclamation. On August fourth at seven o'clock, in his honor. And we as a board are going to do a proclamation on September ninth at the two o'clock session, I believe. We're still working to make sure that's firmed up. But there is going to be a s celebration of his life and legacy. And no other than Giuseppes. On september twenty seventh from one o'clock to four o'clock, please be casual. Okay, please be casual. That's how Bob would have wanted things. So please rise if you are able for the Pledge of Allegiance. Pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America. And to the republic for which it stands, one nation, under God, indivisible,

And this is the proclaimed Tuesday, August fifth, twenty twenty five, is national night out in Princeton County. Now if you see something, say something because we all have a role to play in terms of preventing crime. It is essential that Prince William County residents are aware of the importance of crime prevention programs. and the impact that our participation can have on reducing crime, drugs and violence in our community. Some of the effective ways to do this include police community partnerships, neighborhood safety and awareness, and cooperation. As part of this public awareness campaign, the Prince William County Police Department Department is sponsoring a night I'm sorry, a crime and drug prevention program on Tuesday, August fifth as part of National Line Out.
Deshundra Jefferson 18:31
