Um and then I got email from Commissioner Inciarte that she will not be here tonight. Um, do I have a motion to excuse Commissioner Nsiarte? I move to excuse Commissioner NCRT. Thank you. Do I have a second? Second. Do I have um all in favor say aye. Aye. Opposed? Abstain. Uh unanimous one absence. Commissioner NCRT is excused. We will go to Six items, continuous exceptions. This part of the meeting allows for applicants, member of the public or other interested parties to request an item to be continued without hearing, withdrawn or taken out of order.

It is one A is the minutes and one B it is actually a recommendation for major significant property alteration.

So Uh are they any public presentations tonight? Seeing none. We'll go to our regular agenda. Into a public hearing. Um so the before we get to item two, we did have a request to poll one B. Certainly. Thank you, uh Chair. So I was looking at the documentation for this and Um in the PDF we have uh an existing home roof replacement described and it shows the uh flat portion roof at the back of the home as well as the tiled roof at the main body of the home at the front. I spent some time looking up. This is a Mills Act property. I spent some time looking at both the Mills Act and the Turnbull and Page report from twenty twenty five here. Both of which h feature heavily uh the roof, the roof construction, the roof style as being one of the character defining features of the historic home. Um when the property came to us for the twenty twenty five report. Um the roof was discussed there and the point we left it was the homeowner loved the roof.

They had spare tiles to repair the roof and they would not be replacing the historic roof. Um that is now changed in the report, so I I wanted to pull this one and bring it up because I do believe that this is a significant change to what was previously dis discussed and What would be our next steps here?

Uh so that's exactly why it's before you this evening because that feature was described as um character defining. Um our code requires it to perceive a significant major significant property alteration permit.
