Your maturity as an athlete, the way you approached it.
I remember actually Joey, your coach, was saying, I want you to do the open just to get your feet wet, gain some experience, and feel what it's like.
Um, and uh you didn't place the you want the way you want the place two years ago, and two years later.
The difference in your performance, how you handle yourself, everything.
Tell me a little bit about how you feel the difference was.
Are you glad you did that worlds open worlds two years ago?
Do you think that benefited you uh to make this progress?
It's interesting 'cause sometimes you see in lifters where they don't want to show up for the big reveal until they think they're like podium gonna win.
Um, yeah, that's interesting because for sure, leading into this, sixty threes have always been so uber competitive and it usually if you ask four or five experts, it's split who they think's gonna win.
Coming into this, I forget the exact um percentage when they asked some of the polls, but it was very heavily in your favor.
And how did that make you feel pressure wise, motivation wise?
Mm-hmm.
Um, coming into this, how were you feeling in terms of your prep uh injury wise?
