And the series catalog was like Star Wars figures back when I still liked Star Wars.

They'd have these big elaborate setups, you know, like a two-page spread of these kids having a glorious time playing with their Star Wars stuff.

I always thought that was cool.

The thing I wanted the most, I used to go to the old Radio Shack catalog.

I was desperate for a floppy drive for the Coco, because I already had two big things of discs that my buddy's dad had copied for me.

So they were just sitting there, and I was so sick of loading stuff off the tape.

So probably my favorite Christmas gift ever was the floppy drive.

But I'm probably the only kid on earth that sat around looking at the pages of a RadioShack catalog, foaming at the mouth over a floppy drive.

But that's what I was after back in the day, man.

And how did you get, I mean, once I looked at the cover, it just, I was like, Oh yeah, I remember the logo and stuff.

And I remember, I don't know how these things showed up.

I did.

They just, were they just like mailers?

I mean, we'd never bought anything from them.

Uh, but yeah, I remember getting a couple of these too.

So yeah.

I'm going to carry it a step further with the old computer shopper magazines.
