One of them was a conversation I actually had with my best friend when we were doing some deep inner reflection on this.

And there was a realization that the woman that I would attract into my life that I date, there was a lot of times a certain level of pressure that I would put for it to like work out in a certain way.

And I could tell that it was almost like wanting it to work out was my way of avoiding the shame that there was something wrong with me.

So it was a moment where I realized that it wasn't my fault if it didn't work out in certain relationships.

Yeah.

And it wasn't my fault as a kid that mom's dad died.

So that was the deeper root.

The most powerful thing I did though is something called family constellation therapy.

This is going to sound out there for some of the people that hear this for the first time, but it is very powerful.

So it's like family tree stuff and like... Kind of.

I had some recommendations from people that you have to try this family constellation thing.

And I was like resistant to it for like a year.

And then finally I was like, okay, let me do this.

And it's a German process.

And the idea is that within your energy field is the patterns and the energy dynamics stored from your family line.

Right.
