They're going to need some help, and they're going to need to probably, I believe they have 14 games left, probably going to need to win 10 or 11 games.
Which is surprising to me because I believe right now they're five points out with a game in hand.
You're one three, four game losing streak away from losing it all in the Eastern Conference.
You need to keep pace.
I would definitely go under.
I would go Montreal and Edmonton and that's it.
simply because of the deficit that Ottawa finds itself in, what they'll need to accomplish record-wise in order to actually get to 98, 99 points, which, again, is not a guarantee that you get in.
That's how crazy the Eastern Conference is this season.
Night after night, they're going to be playing one of those teams.
And a lot of these teams have been very, very hot.
And I kept on thinking, ah, Pittsburgh will fall off.
Detroit will fall off.
Boston will fall off.
They haven't.
And then you have the Buffaloes and the Columbuses who have been just incredible for prolonged periods of time.
It's tough, man, and you feel for a team that has 96, 97 points and misses out on the playoffs because, frankly, almost every other year you'd make it, and almost every team in the Atlantic Division would win the Pacific Division.
But sometimes the luck is not with you, and it appears that's the case.
