And, you know, if you think... You know, sometimes I feel like long poems get dismissed.

You know, that...

I feel like poems that get dismissed are sometimes the ones that feel like they're plain spoken.

And people are like, that's just prose cut into lines.

But try to write it.

Go and try to sustain that energy, that tightness, the music for that many pages.

And then you put such difficult content in that it's just really an extraordinary feat.

And I think some of the most important poetry about the AIDS pandemic and and firsthand of of somebody going through this terrible illness.

And I I just think the poems are extraordinary.
