I like that.
Is that vodka?
That's right.
I can go two directions on that.
I'll come back to the discussion at hand.
No, no, you're good.
You don't ever have to apologize for that.
No.
So in our eye, because I think one of the challenges we have, and Chris and I talked about this a little bit earlier today, is where the hurdles when we're trying to utilize supplements, utilize the technologies in patient care.
And I think some of it is, and this is my perspective,
That we look at a bottle and say, hey, here's a bottle.
You can buy it on the shelf.
It doesn't feel like medicine.
It doesn't feel like I wrote a prescription and you have to go somewhere.
And either we have a very base level understanding or we have an understanding like you just shared.
very high level, but how do I take that and communicate it to my patient who's never heard the word lutein before and who's only heard you got to eat carrots to have better eyes, and then we've said now dark leafy green vegetables, right?
So what are we trying to say?
So taking everything you just said, what I'm hearing is that in our retinas, we've got
lutein, zeaxanthin, mesozeaxanthin, right?
And the most important part for the vision in the retina is the macula and the fovea, and that's where the mesozeaxanthin is, the dense pigment, and it kind of spreads out as you go out further through the retina.
